Utica Silicates specializes in low ratio sodium silicate, Na2SiO3, products for commercial and industrial use. We meet the customized specifications for all of our customers and use local sand, which was originally the reason the plant was located in Utica - for the high purity silica sand in the Illinois River basin.
The current product line has ratios from 1.6 up to 2.9. We use only high quality Soda Ash and utilize local sand.
